Sushi Break

EDIT: 02.19.17- Changed the shadow shape a bit, added some reflective colors.

So, I've been working on sprucing this up in an effort to have it ready to submit to a student art show. Any constructive critique, suggestions, etc. is most appreciated.


I don't think I've drawn anything of Maruki for eight years. xD Sorry my old friend.

Tried a similar technique to the one I just used to create my last piece. I like the result. It definitely came out more "paint-ish" than I've ever created. I think I'm actually making a breakthrough in coloring. I'm starting to better understand how to use color that works well together.

The lighting isn't perfect, but I'm learning as I go. Hopefully you enjoy it. ^^
